The game has always been a very important company in the mafia. Card games to bet on horse racing and other sports, has made money mafia of them all. They operated several illegal gambling and luxury throughout the United States. Police and law enforcement have been in the payroll of the mafia bosses and the game ignored. But a great event occurred that forever changed the history of gaming and casinos in the United States. State of Nevada legalized gambling in 1931.

Even if gambling was legalized, no one paid much attention, except for the local cowboys and a few men near military bases. Las Vegas is a dirty city in the desert with a few stations, diners fat and fast food emporiums a few slot machines. Las Vegas in early 1940 was not an attractive place to do business or live. The Mafia does not have the potential to win big in Las Vegas after the Second World War. Al Capone was in the eyes of the city with great interest, but never reached the end of his plans for a hotel and casino paradise for tourists and travelers.

In Cuba gangsters were welcomed by the corrupt regime of Batista, the casinos were plentiful, and the profits were enormous. About a decade after opening its first casino in Las Vegas, swept Fidel Castro’s revolutionary Cuba. So people were left with no option of legal gambling than going to Las Vegas.
